Cycling challenge

Awesome Envision supporters have found gold at the end of a rainbow

Riders on the  THIRD Envision Tri-City Cycling Challenge experienced very different weather to previous years, but somehow the rain only served to bind people together and make the evening beers all the more welcome!  Rainbows shone, spirits were high, memories were made, and new friendships were forged on the 250-mile ride.

The weather also served to heighten the challenge, which helped the fundraising effort with our team of riders collectively raising over £100,000.

Envision CEO, Jennie Butterworth, says

“It’s fitting that these wonderful people raised such a huge amount of money to develop grit and teamwork in young people by excelling in those very qualities themselves!”.

Each evening the riders were able to meet some of the beneficiaries of our programme across the different regions. These young people demonstrated the skills that they have developed on the Community-Apprentice programme; eloquently articulating their projects and why Envision really matters to them.

We're delighted to announce that next year, for the 20th Anniversary of Envision, we’ve got even bigger and better plans with a NEW route.
