Ciara joined the Envision team in August 2018 as Programme Manager for our KS4 programme. Ciara loves the variety of her role, especially facilitating fun and meaningful mentoring sessions with the young people in the offices of their Business Mentors. She particularly loves seeing how young people develop their confidence throughout the programme by building relationships with their dedicated Business Mentors, and seeing just how much both parties gain from the sessions.

Previous to this Ciara was living in Barcelona, where for three years she taught English to teens and adults, learnt Spanish to an advanced level, and enjoyed many a café con leche in sunny Spanish squares. She had been looking for the perfect organisation and role to move back to the UK for, and happily landed firmly on her feet into the Envision family. Since graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Criminology, Ciara has developed a wealth of experience working with many inspiring young people from different backgrounds, countries and cultures, in both charity sector and teaching capacities.

As one of the many Parkrun enthusiasts at Envision, in her free time Ciara can be found running the canals and parks of London, eating her way through the wonderful array of international cuisine that the city has to offer, or making the most of London’s vibrant live music scene.
