20 Year Anniversary

Here at Envision, we are celebrating 20 years of empowering young people to develop life skills through doing good in their local community.

What started with 4 young people grouped together in a garden is now a multi-regional charity, with a proven programme, supporting over 1000 young people a year.  What a journey it’s been!

Like many lockdown birthdays this year, our celebrations have been on hold whilst our schools, communities and supporters have pulled together to keep our mission alive. We are beyond grateful for their support.

Our 20-year journey has mirrored what we try to instil in the young people we help, namely grit, teamwork, communication and creative thinking. With passionate staff and supportive partners, we feel justifiably proud in helping level the educational playing field through our programmes over the last 2 decades.

There is a wide-spread belief recognition of the impact of COVID and school closures has had on the lives of young people.  The gap in academic attainment and also the lack of key work experience opportunities will have disproportionately affected the pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds that we work with.

It is no exaggeration to say that Envision’s services are now more important than at any time in the last 20 years. In a time of huge uncertainty for charities across the country we are asking for your help.

For our 20th birthday we are launching a committed giving scheme and the opportunity for you to become part of the Envision family. By donating a few pounds each month you can play a key role in supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them the confidence and skills they’ll need to be the successful adults of the future.

Through this scheme you will be providing Envision with the vital core-funding to enable us to deliver our new three-year plan. With your help we can meet the growing need for our work across London, Birmingham and Bristol and achieve our goal to reach 8000 young people by 2023.

How does it work?
