The Envision Big Walk
This summer staff, friends and supporters of Envision embarked on a fundraising drive in the form of a Big Walk to raise £10,000 for Envision. Starting at Hampton Court we walked the 20 miles to Battersea Park finishing with some well earned food and drinks at a local public house!
Despite the rain and the blisters everyone made it to the end and we succeeded in meeting our £10,000 target with the help of some astonishing fundraising from Steve Beckett who raised a gobsmacking £1000.
Special thanks go to Ian Johnson from ethical clothes producer Pier 32 who kindly sponsored the Big Walk and supplied us with the T-Shirts free of charge. Ian also very sportingly joined us for the walk with his 11 year old son who put us all to shame by shrugging off the 20 mile walk with a challenge to walk all the back too!
Thank you to Don and Heather Urquhart for organising the quiz along the route and finally, congratulations to the winners of 
the quiz for managing to stay alert enough to complete all the answers.
