Community

A community is a group of people who interact with each other either because they live locally or have shared interests. A sustainable community is one that meets its own needs without compromising the needs of future generations.

In the UK many things can stop you feeling part of a community such as not feeling safe in your area or lack of spaces to connect with each other like parks and community centres.

A particular problem in the UK is creating a sense of community across age groups, cultures and economic backgrounds. There’s also the issue of fostering a global community that responds quickly to problems that require international action.
