Drugs and Alcohol

With the continued rise in the number of young people drinking underage and taking illegal drugs there are a number of negative consequences. One of the most important is the huge health risk of binge drinking to young people.

Alcohol and drug misuse is also linked to anti-social behaviour and has been linked to conditions of anxiety and depression.

Tackling this issue means looking at the reasons why young people are drinking and using drugs from an early age and the role of peer pressure.
