We host regular Truth about Youth events each academic year offering lots of different opportunities to young people. We've hosted interactive debates on everything from the Big Society to Voting at 16. We've organised networking sessions where businesses and local decison makers can meet and exchange ideas with young people. And we've got out onto the streets to show the public all the great things young people do in their community.
Truth about Youth Award Ceremony 2011
On Thursday 7th July we hosted the Truth about Youth Awards Ceremony at Edgbaston Cricket Club. The event was attended by over 200 young people from across Birmingham, all of which had spent the previous 10 months creating and delivering community projects designed to bring positive change to their neighbourhoods. The young people were joined by local businesses, corporate partners and local decison makers. To read more about the Awards Ceremony and find out who won the special award categories have a look at our events page.
