Envision Wins Awards

We are very pleased to announce that Envision has been nominated and received several awards this year.

Our Director and Co-Founder Nick Nielson received the first Shackleton Foundation Award for his innovative leadership. This award celebrates inspirational and visionary leaders. Nick received £10,000 for Envision from the award.

Nick said;

“Being awarded the inaugural Shackleton Foundation Leadership Award is a great honour both for myself and Envision. To be acknowledged as an example for others is really inspiring. Starting and building Envision over the last eight years has been a real privilege and to follow your dreams is something I would encourage everyone to do for both the impact and experience”.

Envision was nominated for the National Lottery Awards. We were extremely pleased to be a runner up in the Best Educational Project category.

The awards were shown live on the BBC on Saturday the 30th of August. A group of Envision staff, students and trustees attended the live BBC Awards for a glitzy night of entertainment and fun.

Although we didn’t win we made it to the final three runners up out of hundreds of other projects. We were also really happy that a short film about Envision was viewed by a massive 3.5 million people on the night of the awards.
