Envision is officially "Not Stupid"!

Mon 9 Nov 2009

Six Envision students got a glimpse inside The Guardian when they were invited to the launch of “Stupid or Not” on 27th September at the newspaper’s headquarters near King’s Cross.  “Stupid or Not” is an educational resource using stories and clips from the film “The Age of Stupid” which is being launched in schools.

Students met the film’s director Franny Armstrong and author Anthony Horowitz as well as getting their chance to see the ways that other young people are reducing their environmental impact.

Envision student Thameenah said “Hearing how they reduce their carbon footprint inspired many at the launch and also put us all to shame!” Students agreed that they event had made them more aware of their personal impact and given them more ideas on how to spread the message about climate change.
