Nayna at Number 10!
Nayna from Preston Manor tells us what it's like to shadow a Government Minister for a day, and who she met along the way!
"I wanted to thank you for the door you opened for me last year. Last year you emailed us about a few opportunities to get involved with and I applied to the Ministerial Shadowing Scheme.
Yesterday was the day of my shadowing and I had the most fabulous time!!! I shadowed Pat McFadden, a Minister of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. I had a real insight to the political world which I one day hope to be a part of.
Also another minister who was also in the office - Kevin Brennan - invited me to go to 10 Downing Street for Sarah Brown's new book launch and celebration of World Book Day. I was able to meet Sarah as she had heard about me through Mr Brennan and came to talk to me. Also I had a chance to take a picture with her.
It was truly an amazing day and just wanted to say all thanks to you!!!!"
