Envision's Community-Apprentice programme recognised for outstanding employer engagement.

Our employee engagement programme this year in Birmingham saw us link over 200 business mentors with 300 young people. Our mentors play an essential role in the success of the programme, helping young people across the region develop skills essential for the future.

On the 7th July, Birmingham was home to the first ever Midlands Education Awards, which celebrated the most outstanding contributors to education in the city.

Envision was nominated for Outstanding Employer Engagement Initiative for our work with local business on our Community-Apprentice programme. Also in the same category were Birmingham City University and Aston Business School.

Despite stiff competition, Envision’s work partnering businesses with local schools and facilitating a mutually beneficial relationship for both, was rewarded as we were announced the winner of this award.

As recognition of this achievement, Ramada, the sponsor of the category, will work with Envision on a chosen project for a year.
