Launch of Beddown n Battini

Beddow n Battini is a collective of creative storytellers from London, led by two Envision Grads, Wumi Olaosebikan (Illustrator) and Adeeb Warren (Writer). They are organising a Collaborative Illustration and Writing exhibition focused on getting people working and exchanging ideas. The Exhibition is all about characters! They’re asking as many creative minds as possible to create their own characters for an imagined city. These characters can be brought to life through illustration, poetry, performance art (anything goes) and they hope to get all the characters interacting with each other (at the first exhibition and beyond!).

 Where is it happening? Concept meetings and the first exhibition will all be in London.

When is it happening? Right now! Meetings are already taking place to develop ideas for the first exhibition. In they’re last meeting, illustrators presented their characters and the writers in the room started creating poems, stories and plays inspired by these images. The collective aim to hold their first exhibition at the end of December.
