Welcome to Bristol!

Over 100 young people came together to launch Envision Bristol on Wed November 17th and kick off our first year in the city.

Students enjoyed a range of activities as they arrived, from recycling bike chains as bracelets to having a ride on a Virtual Reality bike game.

An inspirational performance from Slam Poet Katie Morrison was a highlight of the afternoon then Monika (Filton College) and Danderson (Colston’s Girls) showed that Envision Bristol definitely has talent. Floren Serffon was the lucky winner of a competition to win an Ipod Shuffle so congratulations to her!

The students then went on to attend workshops on issues such as mental health as well as developing a range of skills that they can apply to their team projects. The film making workshop was definitely a hit and Capoeira got everyone mixing and moving together.

The teams enjoyed a great afternoon and we are now looking forward to them creating some great projects in the year ahead.
