All Warmed Up in London

Fri 20 Nov 2009

Nearly 200 young people came together at The Museum of London last Friday to celebrate the start of the Envision year, share their ideas and hear from the experts on everything from climate change to homelessness.

The event started with  the chance to meet experts from Oxfam, Greenpeace, Brook, Morsbags and many more, before the students were officially welcomed by grads Tre, Rio and Lisa and Envision's founder Nick Nielsen.

Then students threw their energy and ideas into a series of workshops on everything from songwriting to filmmaking to creative campaigning - skills they can use for their Envision projects this year and on into the future.

Sarah Lloyd-Hughes, who led the Presentation skills workshop, added:

"I really enjoyed the evening- loved the buzz you've created and I'm really impressed with the young people involved - well done :O)"

It was a brilliant night - staff and workshop providers agreed that Envision people are full of energy and ideas - now you just need to make them happen!
