Birmingham Envision teams are getting ready to pitch their social action projects to a panel of top business and community leaders for the chance of winning up to £500.

There was £500 up for grabs for each Envision team pitching their ideas at this year's Pitch 4 Change event.

Pitch4Change has made it's debut in Bristol. Five teams with five amazing ideas presented their community projects for the chance to win up to £500.

We're kicking off the new Envision year at the fantastic Central Hall Westminster, right opposite the Houses of Parliament. We've got loads of activites and entertainment lined up as well as the usual food and free giveaways.

The Kick Off is set to be another great launch to Envision Birmingham 2011. With a record number of students signed up to the programme, we’re hoping for the same energy, buzz and enthusiasm that we’re used to from the young people across the city

Make sure you get down to Cabot Circus on Wednesday 9th November to see the new Envision year kick off in style at The Future Inn Hotel.

This year's launch event is taking place at The Electric Press on Friday 4th November. They'll be food, entertainment and loads of free giveaways as well as a chance to meet some amazing people from across Leeds.

Over 200 young people came together on Thursday 7th July to celebrate a year of amazing make a difference projects in their schools and communities.

For the second year running Birmingham celebrated the Truth about Youth with a special awards ceremony to recognise the amazing social impact of the Envision Teams and to show Birmingham residents just how much young people contribute to their community.

Envision Leeds shone a spotlight on all the fantastic team projects achieved over the year at a special Summer Ceremony hosted at The Loft.

The circus came to town to celebrate our first year in Bristol. With circus performers, live entertainment and lots and lots of prizes the afternoon was a fantastic success!

One Day, One Mission, One Ultimate Challenge. Twelve teams took up the challenge and spent 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon running round Birmingham City Centre completing 12 challenges.

Envision Bristol hosted their first Global is Local event at Brsitol University Student Union. It was THE event to be at to find out everything you'd need to know about major global issues such as poverty, fair trade, climate change, HIV/AIDS awareness and gender equality!

Envision Leeds are organising an event that will examine and explore the issue of racial justice.

This year's Pitch 4 Change was a huge success with all 5 Envision Teams receiving funding for their social action projects. The panel of Dragons were so impressed by the quality of the presentations that they awarded over £2000 to the Envision teams.

Pitch 4 Change 2010 was a great success with all seven Envision teams receiving funding from the Dragons to deliver their projects next year. Over £2000 was awarded on the day with a further £750 banked for Teams to claim when they develop their projects even further.

Over 100 young people came together to launch Envision Bristol on Wed November 17th and kick off our first year in the city.

Students enjoyed a range of activities as they arrived, from recycling bike chains as bracelets to having a ride on a Virtual Reality bike game.

Envision London kicked off the new school year with 240 young people at City Hall on the South Bank, aiming to produce a whole generation of London Leaders who will change their communities for the better.

On Friday the 12th of November, over 120 young people from across Leeds descended on The Courtyard in Millennium Square for The Big Boom! This super-hero themed event was a chance for students to make a positive difference and challenge the stereotype that ‘the youth’ don't care about their city.

Over two hundred Envision students showed how energetic, enthusiastic and passionate they were at Birmingham’s ‘Kick Off’ at Villa Park on Thursday 11th November. 

Hundreds of young people descended on the Emirates Stadium on the 16th July to join a massive celebration of the amazing things young people have achieved this year, and over the last 10 years.

Envision took over the Town Hall to celebrate the achievements of over 500 young people on the 8th July this year. The ‘Envision Truth about Youth Awards’ recognised the hard work of everyone who has taken part in the Envision Programme across the city this year.

We also marked 5 years of making a difference across Birmingham.

All Envision Leeds teams were invited to the end of year Summer Ceremony on Thursday 24th June at The Electric Press in Millennium Square.

On Wednesday 17 March over 100 young people gathered at the University of Birmingham to learn about, and voice their opinions on, the so-called "third" (non-profit) sector.

Young people from schools and colleges across Leeds took part in Global is Local on Wednesday 10th March 2010 at Hillside, Beeston.

Calling all Envision Birmingham Teams. Are you interested in journalism or creative writing? Do you want to find out how you to write a press release, how to contact journalists and increase your chances of getting your news story into the media?

Each year we invite a couple of students from each team to become Press Officers - responsible for getting the message about what they and other young people are doing into the media. Yesterday around 80 students met at the Amnesty International Human Rights Action Centre to learn about media old and new, and how they can become part of the story!

On 11th December 5 Envision School teams from around Leeds had the opportunity to pitch their ideas for community projects to a panel of ‘Dragons’ for the chance to win up to £500.

On Thursday 10th December five successful teams of student applicants from Envision’s Birmingham programme pitched their plans for social and environmental projects to a panel of ‘Dragons’ in the hope of being awarded up to £500 to turn their ideas into reality.

Ten of Envision’s London teams faced a panel of ‘Dragons’ at a prestigious Canary Wharf location on Wednesday 9^th December to make their pitches for up to £500 to make their social and environmental projects a reality.

Nearly 200 young people came together at The Museum of London last Friday to celebrate the start of the Envision year, share their ideas and hear from the experts on everything from climate change to homelessness.

Nearly 300 Young People representing 27 schools and colleges in Birmingham descended on Villa Park on Thursday 12th November for the Kick Off, a welcome event for the young people who will be taking part in the Envision programme this year.

On Wednesday 4th November over 80 students representing 14 schools and colleges from across Leeds came together to celebrate the launch of Envision in Leeds.

What a fantastic event! Envision students joined young people from dozens of other youth organisations to learn, share and debate the issue of climate change. The students really made an impact, whether it was making their climate pledges and helping to send a message to the delegates at the Copenhagen Climate Conference, writing new apps and programmes, documenting the day on video or speaking up in the Debating Chamber.
