Earth Hour

Earth Hour starts at 8.30pm, Saturday 31st March 2012. At this time people all over the world will switch off their lights and appliances to cause a 'blackout'.

This will create a sign of our willingness to take action on Climate Change, and an example of what can be done when we work together!

And it doesn't just mean homes - businesses, famous monuments and landmarks will join in too,. What about shops or offices near you?

Earth Hour is organized by WWF. With almost 5 million supporters and a global network in over 100 countries/territories, it’s one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organizations. WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the Earth's natural environment and build a future where people live in harmony with nature - you can see maps, downloads and pictures on their Earth Hour website.
