Corporate Social Responsibility

Envision aims to work in partnership with companies – the corporate citizens of our local and global society – to bridge the gap between young people and those working in a business environment.

We focus on supporting companies to work with schools and young people. In return, companies often provide mentoring and skills training, or other opportunities that help broaden young people's horizons.

1. Sponsor a school on the Envision Programme

Link your employees to a group of young people on the Envision programme and help them make a positive difference. The sponsorship covers the student materials packs, resources, volunteer training, criminal record checks and event costs for members of the school team. This option offers flexibility and can be tailored to the level of company involvement desired.

2. Provide Team or Skills Mentors for the Envision Programme

Employee volunteering brings a greater connection between your business and the local community that can have real outcomes in terms of staff development, motivation and performance. This gives your employees a great chance to build on facilitation and leadership skills. Your employees could inspire and support 16-19 year olds to make a real difference in their communities and realise their full potential while building on their own employability and life skills for the future.

3. In-house Presentations & Training

Envision Grads and Envision Coordinators will discuss our work and experience, hold an active citizens vs. good citizens debate, lead discussions on social and environmental issues or present "How to make a difference in your lunchtime" seminars. This involves sharing best practice and tools for working and engaging with young people. Key skills to gain are leadership, facilitation skills and youth engagement. Perfect for those organisations and businesses looking to develop youth engagement programmes and methods!

4. One-off volunteering opportunities

Individuals from companies are invited to join young people's events on different issues including conservation, community days and homelessness. An opportunity for employees to participate in these events on a particular day.

5. Active Corporate Citizenship

This programme is designed around what difference your organisation wants to make.  Groups of staff from your business will develop a project around an issue which the organisation and its employees want to tackle.  Employees will form teams to tackle this issue with the support, training and resources provided by Envision Coordinators.  Each company will be assigned an Envision Coordinator who will facilitate this process at times specified by your organisation.

This opportunity is perfect for teambuilding, employee motivation, staff development and inter-departmental communications.   Your company team will be able to link up throughout this programme with young people in your area on one-off volunteering project days.
