Vacancy: Finance Officer

London, £23,000 - £25,000 (pro rata). Application deadline 26th November. Interviews 4th December.

We’re looking for a capable Finance Officer for 14 hours a week. We’re a small organisation and you will be doing all the finances with just one other part time member of staff, so your contribution will really matter. Without you none of the bills or even the people will be paid, so you’ll be crucial to our continued success.

The other advantage of being a relatively small charity is that we have no ‘departments’. You’ll be part of the organisation and get a real window on our day to day work so you will feel connected with the cause you are working to support.

Because this role is so important to us we are looking for someone with a rigorous approach and attention to detail. You’ll be organised and efficient and able to deal efficiently with a demanding workload. You’ll have good excel skills and either prior experience with our accounting software, Xero, or a proven ability to quickly and effectively get-to-grips with new accounting software. Above all, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to enable us to work with even more young people and help them to change the world for the better.

Please see further details in the application pack.
